Trainer Program
Your dog is who you want to help you in this challenging world. You already have the bond. You just need direction and help to train your dog to become the Qualified Service Dog you know that they can be.
You two will become a team. Growing together. Learning together. Problem solving together.
Owner training is a big job. It takes a lot of dedication, practice, purpose and patience. But you wouldn’t have it any other way. Join our Academy Program and have the direction and knowledge you need to pass the Alberta Government Public Access Test.
You can join our individual classes and pay just for those classes if you only have specific areas you want to focus on:
Public Access
Mitigating Tasks
Medic Alert Scent Detection
Or you can start fresh and sign up for the entirety of the program. Paying one monthly fee gives you access to all the Academy Classes as well as Partners Naturally’s regular pet dog programing.
Public Access Skills
We offer weekly group classes out in public working on and perfecting the obedience skills required for Public Access - leash walking, stays, under, visit, recall, doorway skills, elevator access, etc.
Mitigating Tasks
Mitigating tasks is offered once a week. Tell us your task required and we will give you the steps in person, individualized to each dog.
Medic Alert Scent Detection
This weekly class will give you the skills and practice setup to train medic alert skills for your dog. Diabetic Alert, Food Allergies, Gluten Alert - train your dog to use his nose to alert you when these scents are present.
